Examine price moves alongside related developments

Identify notable moves and compare them with available news and events. Observed reactions are shown where suitable data exists.

Why is an association not proof of causation?

A price move occurring near a news release does not establish a definite causal relationship. Proximity in time is not proof.

Hypothetical example

You see an oil price move near a supply-related headline. They may be a useful topic for joint analysis, while currencies, demand or other news may also be contributing.

Known limitations

Not all 31 feeds are displayed. Many sources are delayed. Some commodity feeds use futures proxies or backup prices.
